These stools were purchased to replace some other brand and style which fell apart in a matter of a couple of years. These are the best stools around. They are sturdy, comfortable and so easy for anyone to assemble...heck I did it, you know it's easy.

One of these had a defective pneumatic cylinder (slowly sank when somebody sat on it), but Mercantila did a good job sending me a new part.
Pretty comfy stools, easy to assemble, nice style, and pretty stable as long as you don't stand on one.
Very happy with them

Very useful that they are adjustable so I can use them at my bar or my table. don't get in the way either and i have limited space. One con is that there is a ring at the base which i don't really understand the purpose of and looks kind of cheap.... but I have a picky eye and its only cause I held the rings before i put them on.

This is a great set of barstools. I wouldn't put them in a restaurant where 100's of people would be using it. But for home use, I love them.

I can have the occasional party and people can say, "Cool bar area" and have a few drinks.

But the chairs are less than $100, don't expect $500 chairs.
